
Primers provide a somewhat coarse, textured surface which paint can stick to.
- Use on unpainted surfaces, or painted surfaces repaired with patching plaster or joint compound.
- Use on dark or bright coloured surfaces that are to be re-painted in a lighter colour.
- Use to create a barrier against moisture.
- Use to coat bare woods including those that will bleed through paint.
- Use to coat masonry surfaces like unglazed blocks, bricks, and concrete.
- Allow for a smoother, more even, brighter finish after painting.
